Terms of Service

Welcome to TheWholeTorah.ai. By using this site you agree to these terms.

Purpose

TheWholeTorah.ai exists to open the whole Torah to learners at every level and in every language: Mishnah, Gemara and halacha, alongside chassidus and Jewish thought. Each subject is taught in edited lessons, shown beside its source, and read aloud. The lessons are offered for learning and personal study, free of charge.

Study, not practical rulings

Everything here is study material, not a halachic ruling. It should not be relied on to decide a practical question; for that, ask a rav. This applies with particular force to the halacha lessons and to the site's interactive features.

AI-assisted content

Some lessons, translations and narrations are produced with AI assistance, and all of them are reviewed and approved by a human editorial team before publication. The interactive features answer only from our own sources and lessons, and cite where each answer comes from. While we strive for fidelity to the sources, content may contain errors; it is not a substitute for study with a qualified teacher.

Privacy and data

The site collects no personally identifying information. No account is needed to learn, and we do not ask for or store a learner's name, email address, phone number or postal address. Usage statistics are gathered in aggregate, analyzed by machine, and used solely to improve the site; they are never sold and never passed to a third party. Halachic questions are reviewed from time to time to verify the accuracy of the answers. While the site is closed for Shabbat, the visitor's region and the time of the block are recorded so we can confirm the closure is behaving correctly in every part of the world. Access to the editorial admin requires an authorized account, for which an email address is kept for editorial staff only.

Intellectual property & copyright

The sources taught on this site, and the published editions they are quoted from, remain the property of their respective rights holders: publishers, authors, and the teachers whose shiurim the lessons were drawn from. Where a source is in the public domain or carries an open license, we follow its terms. The lessons, translations, recordings and artwork produced here are offered for learning and personal study; do not reproduce or redistribute them commercially without permission. If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, write to info@thewholetorah.ai and we will address it promptly.
