Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we never collect, and what is gathered so the site can improve.
We collect no identifying information
No account is needed to learn here. We do not ask for or store a learner's name, email address, phone number or postal address, and we build no personal profile of any learner. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking tools.
If you write to us
The contact form is the one place on the site where you may give us your details, and only because you chose to. The name and the message are needed to answer you; the email and the phone are optional, and you may leave both empty. What you send is kept so we can reply and is used for nothing else: it is never added to any usage data, never used to build a profile, never sold and never passed to a third party. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a request comes from a person rather than a script and does not track you across sites. Write to us at info@thewholetorah.ai to have your message deleted.
Usage data
General usage is recorded: which lessons are studied, in which language, and what is listened to. It is analyzed by machine and used solely to improve the site and to decide what to teach next. It is never sold and never passed to a third party.
Questions asked on the site
The interactive features answer only from our own sources and lessons, and cite where each answer comes from. Halachic questions are reviewed from time to time by the editorial team, to verify the accuracy of the answers and improve them. Please do not include personal details in a question.
The Shabbat closure
The site does not operate on Shabbat according to the visitor's own location. When a request is turned away, the visitor's region and the time of the block are recorded, so we can confirm the closure behaves correctly in every part of the world. No IP address and nothing identifying the visitor is kept.
Editorial accounts
Access to the editorial admin requires an authorized account. An email address is kept for editorial staff only, and is used for signing in and managing roles, nothing else.
Hosting and services
The site runs on Vercel and data is stored with Supabase. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security practices.
Cookies
We use a cookie to remember your chosen language, and a sign-in cookie for signed-in staff. No advertising or tracking cookies.
